About the OLF Rate
The Overnight Lending Facility (OLF) Rate is the interest rate at which commercial banks can borrow funds from the Bank of Zambia on an overnight basis.
The OLF rate is set at a premium above the Monetary Policy Rate (MPR) to discourage excessive use of the facility and encourage efficient liquidity management.
