The apex body for coordinating financial stability and crisis management in Zambia.
About the Council
The Financial Stability Council was established to enhance coordination among financial sector regulators and promote financial stability in Zambia. The Council meets regularly to assess systemic risks and coordinate policy responses.
Through information sharing and joint policy development, the Council ensures a unified approach to maintaining the stability of Zambia's financial system and protecting the interests of depositors and other financial consumers.
